Adobe Flash Player 11 RC released

Adobe has just released the Release Candidate for its latest Flash Player version 11. The release candidate has been released for all platforms Linux, Windows and Mac in both 32 and 64 bit versions. 32bit users will get updates from the Ubuntu repositories as and when the repositories updated.

If you want to have automatic updates enabled for your 64bit Ubuntu based distributions, you may want to install the sevenmachines ppa.
Please note: The 64 bit builds are available for 8.04, 9.10, 10.04, 10.10, 11.04 and 11.10 users only. Installation can be done via the Ubuntu Software Centre or via the command line. I prefer the command line as it is very easy and just requires opening fewer windows.
Installation instructions for 64bit users via command line can be found below. Open a terminal and copy and paste the following commands.
Please note: You must have root password or administrator priviledges to  perform the activities. If not, you may have to install it locally in your profile.
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:sevenmachines/flash
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
Downloads for all other versions are available at
