Canonical unveils new Ubuntu App Developer website

In a new post at design.canonical.com blog, Inayaili León today announced the availability of a brand new Ubuntu App Developer website. It seems to be inspired by the Apple and Google app developer sites; nevertheless, this is a very first of its kind for Linux developers.

The idea behind this project is to centralize all resources  available for developers for developing applications for Ubuntu and engage with the community. Quoting the author from the blog:
The goal of this project was to create a website that would centralise
the best resources on developing Ubuntu applications; a place where
developers could find not only all the tools and information necessary
to get started on Ubuntu app development, but also a place where they
can be a part of an engaged community of other developers who are
equally eager to learn and happy to share their knowledge.

More details on the app developer website and how it was conceived can be found here.
