User friendly Unity UI tweaking application MyUnity today reached version 3.0. The application has generated renewed interest among Unity fans after being included in the precise pangolin universe repositories. This interest will increase for sure after this release.
The latest version, 3.0, brings in a lot of new features to the application e.g.
- adding or deleting quicklists
- editing exiting quicklists
- Option to add show desktop icon on the launcher
- changing themes without changing icons
- change icon themes
- add/remove virtual desktops
- change launcher colour
Install in Ubuntu 11.04 & 11.10
To install in previous versions of Ubuntu copy and paste the commands in a terminal
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:myunity/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install myunity
Uninstall
If you want to uninstall, copy paste the command below
sudo ppa-purge -p ppa:myunity/ppa
