Ubuntu 10.10 beta has been released

The next instalment of Ubuntu , codenamed Maverick Meerkat, which is slated to be released on 10th of October, has released its beta version today for early adopters and testers. Ubuntu enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for it.  This release promises to bring some important changes to the UI, and already boasts to have met the Ubuntu papercut traget ( 100 usability bug fixes) in record time.
