Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.10 comes with a sleek-looking Evolution which starts up very fast and is quite responsive. However, the downside of the mail client is that I could not find a direct link to fire up the calendar from within the application. If I have to view the calendar, I have to start it from the applications menu. An easy way of launching the full featured evolution , like the one in the desktop edition is by clicking on the mail section of the indicator applet. This starts up the full version of evolution. You can keep it in the launcher by right clicking on the icon and selecting Keep in launcher.
Remove the other evolution launcher (Right click and select Remove from launcher) to avoid confusion .
