Precise Pangolin Beta 1 was released on 1st March. So whats new the first beta of the upcoming LTS release? If you have read my Ubuntu 12.04 updates
here and
here, then there are no new updates.
To sum up, beta 1 includes the new HUD or Heads Up Display, a new Qt based Ubuntu One launcher, new privacy options, added icons, video lens, new GUI for crash reporting, chameleon Dash qucklist and recommendations for Ubuntu Software Centre.
The LTS alpha and beta builds have been exceptionally stable and I have been using this as my main system since alpha 2.
I have included a screenshot tour to save you all some reading time. 🙂
